As partof my project "Language for Harmony",I have created the Sanskrit verb 'salm salmate'meaning to pray for peace to be upon”;grammatically the innovated verb will be made to govern the accusative case; The new song created by me is 'same maataram' meaning 'I pray for peace to be upon mother'(copyright has been registerd for this phrase). I hope now Muslims will also be able to join in singing of this modified National Song of India.....Shreyas Munshi, MA (Linguistics)
In my previous blog there is a typing error. The new song will read 'salme maataram' (not 'same maataram'. The rest remains uncanged. ...Shreyas
